And winners are…

Beginning with what will be a yearly tradition, our recording partners, Estudio Infrasonido held a contest in search of new emerging talent within the chilean music scene– Concurso Infrasondio. Aspiring bands sent in their demos and three winners were picked. And winners were: Desde Las Alturas, (Hard Rock) Karamawi, (Reggae) and Cultivoz (Rap Fusion).

This week a member of each of the three winning bands joined us in the studio to talk about their music, their bands and the music scene in Chile– Diego from Desde Las Alturas, Camilo from Karamawi and Bloja from Cultivoz.
As well as hearing a special preview of some of the songs recorded at Estudio Infrasonida, we were treated to a rap improv collaboration of all three bands.

Each contest winner won studio time to record one of their own songs at Estudio Infrasonido.
